Meneileian

Meneileians, who derive their name from the forested continent, Meneilas, are identical to humans in most regards. An ancient people with a strong oral tradition, Meneileians believe that they were long ago taken in and domesticated by the great trees of the Veghrinaad forest. The Meneileians worship the trees of the great forest, making dwellings high atop the boughs, or else fashioning powerful, sturdy dwellings and ships from timber reverently etched in sacred designs to commemorate their sacrifice.

Long ago, when the floods came and the towers were first fashioned, the Eruvenian armies invited the Meneileians to take refuge with the sky people. Some accepted, but many more chose to stay on Meneilas. The oral tradition of the Meneileians then goes on to attribute their survival to the tree cities and their overall adherence to a druidic religion which they call the Old Ways.
