Galactine

In the last age, the Galactine were a spacefaring race of small, dragonfly-winged people. Because of this, there were a few colonies of Galactine traveling in space when their home world was devoured by Qetamoch, the Thirsting Light. Today, the Galactine are refugees in the Epicentral Empire, seeking to rebuild their lost culture however they can.

Quick allies to the Qeruborim, the Galactine have ingratiated themselves to the Epicentral Empire through generous allocation of their sophisticated knowledge of ley technology. Their insights were pivotal in the overall engineering of the Hanging Towers, making the structures mobile instead of stationary: large luminous vessels, similar to the ones the Galactine arrived in.

Small, with compound eyes and iridescent dragonfly wings, the Galactine are an enigmatic people, walking a fine line between brilliant and sometimes arrogant enlightenment and humble gratitude for their opportunity to salvage their endangered cultures.

Because of how they see the world, star gnomes tend to congregate at places of magical power, which they perceive as more naturally beautiful: places like the Towers themselves, anchored to the ley lines of the broken world, are an ultraviolet wonder that many star gnomes are drawn to.

Hyper-aware. You have a quick mind and react to even mild stimuli on an almost instinctive level. You have advantage on Initiative checks.

Wings. You have a flying speed of 30 feet. To use this speed, you can't be wearing medium or heavy armor.
